Description
TX Sparks is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and manage day-to-day operations at our construction sites in Dallas, TX. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel to drive project success and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure they are in line with the project’s plans, schedule, and budget.
- Ensure safety standards and regulations are strictly followed, conducting regular site safety inspections.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Supervise site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor project progress, manage daily site reports, and communicate any delays or issues to the project management team.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Manage site logistics, including equipment, materials, and labor, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Address any on-site issues, resolving problems as they arise to keep the project on track.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent, with a strong track record in residential and commercial construction.
- Possesses a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Holds excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and overseeing a large team of subcontractors and site personnel.
- Is highly organized with excellent time-management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Has strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Is proficient in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings.
- Holds knowledge of safety protocols and has experience ensuring OSHA compliance on job sites.
