Behind the Build
Sourcing the Exterior Stone
The residence called for a premium exterior stone that was unavailable locally. The team sourced and procured the material from an out-of-state supplier, then coordinated its delivery and installation to achieve the intended masonry finish.
Creating More Space in the Storm Room
The storm room was initially planned with CMU block walls, which would have reduced its usable interior space. To accommodate the client’s request for more room, the team installed a metal storm room anchored into the foundation. The revised approach preserved space for storage within the room.
Waterproofing the PEMB Barn
Water intrusion can be a challenge in pre-engineered metal buildings, particularly at joints and penetrations. The team completed waterproofing work on the detached barn to protect its interior, including the bathroom and closet.
